Change your settings to explore Insights for your Personal and Organization Portfolios

EarthScan Insights provide you with personalized climate intelligence relevant to your assets and Portfolios. They are clear, concise summaries and data visualizations of your Portfolio's climate risk, how it has changed over time and how it is projected to change in the future.

Where can you find your EarthScan Insights?
Follow these steps to start exploring your Insights:
- From the EarthScan menu, click on either your Personal (round icon) or Organization (square icon) workspace.
- Select the Portfolio you want to see Insights for.
- EarthScan will automatically generate your Insights, which will appear to the right side of the map.
- Scroll through to view each Insight.
View your asset-level EarthScan Insights
EarthScan Insights are set to a default, Portfolio-level view. You will automatically see this default view when you first access your personal or organization Portfolio.
Use the Interactive Map or List View to dive deeper into your Climate Intelligence for selected individual assets. Your Insights will update accordingly to give you asset-level climate risk intelligence for the asset selected.
Select and change your settings using the Navigation Panel controls
Customize and filter your Insights by changing the four controls in the Navigation Panel:
Each Insight is fully dynamic. As you filter, search and navigate through your Portfolio and assets, your Insights will update to reflect your current asset and control selections.
You can easily identify the filters you’ve selected within the written explanation section of your individual Insight. Each control is highlighted in bold.
For each Risk Category, you can select one or more individual physical metrics. As you select additional different metrics within the Risk Category Control in the Navigation Panel, your Insights will become more detailed and specific.
For example, if you have selected the Heat Stress Risk Category, you can either select and view Insights for projected maximum temperature (°C) or number of expected heat wave days. You can further customize the settings by changing the climate scenario and year.
Select and change your settings using the Interactive Map
You can view the geographic location of your selected assets using the interactive map. The individual assets in the Portfolio are represented by circles. Select the circle to view asset-level Insights.
The interactive map also indicates the level of risk that each asset is exposed to (according to your current settings). An asset's Earthscan Rating is indicated by the circle colour.
Select EarthScan Insights settings using the List View
You can find the List View in the top right hand corner of the interactive map. Use this feature to view a complete list of all the assets in your Portfolio.
To switch between the Map and List Views, toggle the button in the upper right corner of the map.
Sort your assets in the List View
By default, your assets are sorted by EarthScan Rating, descending from Rating A (very low climate-related risk) through to Rating F (extremely high climate-related risk). It’s easy to sort your assets from Rating A to Rating F. Just click on the Risk Category heading at the top of the list.
You can also sort your assets in the List View in alphabetical order. Click on the asset heading to sort them by A-Z or Z-A.
