Remove assets from your Portfolio

Easily remove assets from any of your Personal or Organization Portfolio’s

After reading this article, you will learn:

What is a Portfolio?

In EarthScan™, assets can be added to and removed from Portfolio’s. A Portfolio enables you to group assets and collate them together. This allows you to create, analyze, and compare different groups of assets to suit multiple decisions and use cases (i.e. by geography, by industry, or by business unit).

Where is your Portfolio located?

You can find your Portfolio’s in your Personal and Organization workspaces.

Find both types of workspace from the EarthScan menu. Click on the circle icon to access your Personal workspace, or the square icon to access your Organization workspace.

Who can remove assets from a Portfolio?

Assets can be removed from your Portfolio at any time.

Please note: Only the creator of the Portfolio can remove the assets from that Portfolio.

How to remove assets from your Portfolio

If you no longer want an asset in your Portfolio, it’s simple to remove it:

  1. Select the asset or assets you want to remove by clicking on an asset on the map or clicking on the check box on the list view.
  2. Click ‘Remove’ on the top right hand side.
  3. A pop-up will then appear confirming the amount of assets you want to remove.
  4. Click ‘Yes, Remove’.
  5. A pop up will then appear confirming how many assets have been removed.

Please note: Once you’ve deleted an asset from your Portfolio, it will remain in your Asset Library. This allows you to re-assign the asset to any of your Portfolios in the future.
